辛笛儿沿着湖边往前追，背红背包的背影(刘俊豪)消失在人群中。
湖边一间租船的小屋吸引了辛笛儿。
出租的船是红色的，租船的人穿的救身衣也是红色的。
辛笛儿从皮包里拿出一张刘俊豪的照片。照片上，刘俊豪身穿红色救身衣，手拿船浆，双手展开，站在水边，一只脚撩起，身子往外斜，表情惊异，画面模糊。她向租船小屋走去。
一名男服务员在协助两名租独木舟的游客上船。辛笛儿手拿照片，走上前。
辛笛儿递上照片：Excuse me. Do you have any memory of this photo (请问，你对这张照片有些印象吗？)
服务员拿过照片，端详。
……刘俊豪穿上救身衣，拿过一把船浆，将照相机递给服务员。
刘俊豪：Can you take photo for me (请帮忙照张相行吗？)
服务员：Okay. (好。)
服务员拿过照相机，为刘俊豪拍照。刘俊豪走到水边，摆姿势。
服务员：Are you ready (准备好没有？)
刘俊豪双手展开，抬起一脚，装作要往水里倒下的样子：Yes, I’m ready. (我准备好了。)宝贝，快来救命啊！
服务员按下照相机快门。
刘俊豪一下没站稳，扑通一声掉进水里去。服务员急忙上前去拉刘俊豪……
服务员对辛笛儿笑：Yes, I remember this guy. He was funny. He splashed in the water after I took this picture for him. (有，我记得这个家伙。他真有意思。我给他拍完照后，他就掉进水里去了。)
辛笛儿：Did you see him recently Or, just now (你最近见过他吗？就是刚才。)
服务员摇头：No. (没有。)
老肥姐和老瘦哥跑来。
老肥姐：划船啦，划船啦。到蓝宝石里面划船啦！
班芙、路易斯湖、湖边林间山路上。
辛笛儿低头走着。在她前面有一对白人年轻夫妇。
丈夫：Grandma’s never been here, but she’s really dying to visit Banff. (祖母从未来过班芙，但她真是死都想来这里。)
妻子：We can go and ask Banff Township. (我们可以去问问班芙镇政府。)
丈夫：Ask what (问什么？)
妻子：Whether she can be buried here after she passed away. (问他们，她去世后能不能埋在这里？)
丈夫：Are you kidding (开什么玩笑？)
妻子：It won’t hurt to ask. (问问没什么害处。)
夫妻两人笑着快步向前。
辛笛儿站在一个开阔处，望了望湖水，然后接着往前走。
班芙、路易斯湖、湖边石头山路上。
辛笛儿小心爬到一块石头上，坐下，从肩上取下皮包，放在大腿上，远望湖光。
湖面轻波荡漾，游船漂游。
靠岸边的水面上，刘俊豪坐在一条游船上，用力朝这边划来，并向辛笛儿招手。辛笛儿惊喜，站起，皮包落地，未察觉。刘俊豪变成了老瘦哥，船上还坐着老肥姐。辛笛儿失神坐下，泪水流下。
远处，老肥姐和老瘦哥的船靠岸，两人手牵着手，开始往山上爬。
杰克悄悄从侧面接近辛笛儿，伸手去抓辛笛儿掉到地上的皮包。
老肥姐画外音惊叫：啊！
辛笛儿回过神，发现杰克在拿她的皮包，伸手抓回，站起，转身往回走。
远处山脚下，老肥姐滚倒在地上，老瘦哥赶忙扶她起来。
班芙、路易斯湖畔、宾馆前。
辛笛儿漫步往回走，目光无神。李迅翰气喘吁吁赶来。
李迅翰：笛儿妹，你跑到哪儿去了？让我好找。
辛笛儿：就在湖边。
李迅翰：现在去哪儿？
辛笛儿：回旅馆。
两人往停车场走去，上了一辆出租车。
出租车内。
司机：Where are you going, guys (去哪里，两位？)
李迅翰：Banff Springs Hotel. (班芙泉宾馆。)
司机：A good place to stay. (这是个住宿的好地方。)
李迅翰：Too expensive. (太贵了。)
辛笛儿扭头望着窗外的景物。
司机：You know that’s a hotel with a history of 120 years. Have you ever lived in a hotel older than 100 years (要知道，这是一个有120年历史的宾馆。你住过100多年的老旅馆吗？)
李迅翰：No. (没有。)
司机：You know, a building older than 100 years must have some spirits. (你知道，一栋超过100年的老房子都会有些精灵。)
李迅翰：Spirits What do you mean (精灵？这是什么意思？)
司机笑：Huh, you don’t understand Ghosts in another word. (哈，你不明白？换句话说就是鬼。)

司机：The hotel’s employees and guests have an abundance of spooky stories to tell. (宾馆的工作人员和客人，都有数不清的鬼故事可以讲。)

……夜晚，80年前的班芙泉宾馆、餐厅。画面如出租车司机的话。
司机：No, I’m not! Just let me tell you one of the most scary stories I’ve heard. On a winter day in 1932, a young couple were holding their wedding in the hotel. The wedding party was going on in the Rob Roy dining room. After a dance with the groom, the bride didn’t feel so well and excused herself. She went upstairs back to her room. Before long, the groom heard a loud “bang” and rushed out of the dining room. He found his just-married wife fell down the staircase, dead! A year later in the middle of the night, two cleaning workers finished their cleaning of the dining room and left. One of the workers found his pocket watch dropped and got back to the dining room to look for it. But, before he opened the door, mysterious music floated out. He was caught by curiosity and a little frightening. He pulled the door open a □□all gap. My God. Can you imagine what he saw A bride was dancing alone in the dining room!
