经济权利:保障充分的物质生活水平,是最新的也是最有争议的权利。
建构:人们普遍认为是古老和神圣的东西,实际上却是新近的和人为的。
红色恐怖:第一次世界大战和麦卡锡时期对共产主义颠覆的夸张的恐惧。
煽动性言论:引起公共秩序混乱或国家颠覆的刺激性言论。
XYZ事件是1797年发生在美国与法国之间的外交事件。时任法国外交部长塔列朗的三位代理人(在最初公布的保密外交文件中被分别称为X、Y和Z)向前来进行和平谈判的美国外交使节索取巨额贿赂,以此作为继续谈判的条件。这一事件被披露后引发了美国的反法浪潮,进一步恶化了美国与法国的关系,并导致了1798年美国对法国的不宣而战。
